We are very proud of our Carnival club (based at the social club) The club was established in the early seventies by the workers of the factory and they have worked hard raising funds and building floats ever since. In the past they have achieved a great deal of success in the November Carnival circuit, the worlds largest illuminated procession. On two occassions they have won the highest prize possible for a comic feature float - the Comic County Cup. The first time was in the seventies with the entry Busby Chatterbox. More recently they repeated the achievement with Abbattoir - Gimme A Ham After Midnight.
