FREE VENUE FOR PARTIES

For party bookings (held during our standard opening hours), we are often able to offer FREE hall hire. Although the social club cannot be booked exclusively for private parties, we have successfully allowed parties and events here, along side our regulars.

We do operate a membership option and so members would be allowed entry to events that are held here, but we hope that wouldn't deter you. Over the years, we have held many Birthdays (we can't accept 18th/21st birthdays or children's parties), anniversaries, christenings, baby showers, wakes and other gatherings.

We have a well stocked bar with very reasonably priced drinks and whilst we cannot provide food for events, we're happy to allow catering to be done off of the premises and brought in (we also have a modest kitchen).

We can assure you that this arrangement has proven extremely successful on many occasions in the past.Friday nights are the preferred night for party bookings and we are always happy to consider requests for any new events/gatherings, subject to available dates and the agreement of the committee.

BOOK THE SKITTLE ALLEY

We would welcome groups wishing to make use of the skittle alley, perhaps for a works night out or social gathering. Whilst we do have regular teams playing at the club throughoutthe week, the alley is often available on a Friday night.

SOCIAL GROUPS AND CLUBS

There are currently a number of groups and organisations who already meet regularly a Mardons.

We are able to offer the use of not only the space, but also our big screen. The projector can be linked to a video player, a DVD and even a laptop computer. This means there is the opportunity to hold video presentations, courses and lectures at the club. In the past we have welcomed first aid courses, staff meetings and corporate presentations.

Our facilities also mean there is the potential for an organisation or group to stage fundraising events - making use of the impressive screen. We work with groups to stage regular events and make use of the screen for race nights and quiz nights for example. Please get in touch to discuss your needs, if you think we may be a ble to help.
